Eagle will be eyeing Bihar elections, EC made strong plan, will keep more than 400 observers to account:

News India Live, Digital Desk: The Election Commission (EC) has geared up to conduct the Bihar assembly elections in a completely clean and fair manner. This time there will be no scope for rigging or any kind of disturbance in the election, as the Commission has decided to deploy a large army of more than 400 observers (supervisors). These officers will keep a close watch on every electoral activity like an eagle.

These observers will be deployed not only on the election day, but during the entire election process. They will be monitored at every step, from filing nominations, campaigning, voting and then counting votes.

Who is this observer and what will be their work?

The Election Commission has decided to appoint three types of observers for different works:

1. General Observers: These are senior IAS officers. Their main task is to see whether all the rules of the Election Commission are being followed properly or not. They monitor the entire electoral process so that everything is in a peaceful and fair manner.
2. Police Observers: These are senior IPS officers. Their responsibility is to handle the security system. They see whether adequate police forces are deployed in sensitive areas, and if the voters are being intimidated and not being intimidated.
3. Expected Observers: They are IRS officers and their work is most important. They monitor the election expenses of candidates and parties. Their main responsibility is to prevent any illegal activity like distribution of liquor, distributing money or buying votes. They keep a complete account of the expenses of every candidate so that no one can spend more than the fixed limit.

When and how will it be deployed?

As soon as the notification of the election will be issued and the process of nomination starts, all these observers will be sent to their scheduled areas. They will remain stationed there till the election is over and will directly send its report to the Election Commission.

This move of the Election Commission is clear how serious it is about Bihar elections. The deployment of more than 400 officers will ensure that the people of Bihar can choose their government without any fear and greed.
