Guwahati: In many parts of Assam and Northeast India, the powerful tremors of the earthquake tonight spread panic among the people. Due to the sudden trembling of the land, people got nervous and left their homes and started running towards open places. These shocks were so sharp that everything felt moving for many seconds, which created an atmosphere of fear among the people.
According to National Center for Seismology, intensity of this earthquake on Richter scale 5.9 It is measured, which is considered quite powerful.
