Eastern Uttar Pradesh: Sahajanwa-Dohriighat started laying new railway line, now the train will be easy to catch

News India Live, Digital Desk: Railway line: The decades -old dream of the people of eastern Uttar Pradesh i.e. Purvanchal is now going to turn into reality. The area where people had to go 30-40 km away to catch the train, now they will have a railway station near their own village. Indian Railways has much awaited Sahajanwa-Dohriighat new railway line Has started construction work.

This 81.17 km long railway line will write a new chapter of development of Purvanchal. The line will start from Sahajanwa in Gorakhpur district to Dorighat in Mau district, which is an important town situated on the banks of the Saryu River.

What is the specialty of this project and why is it so important?

1. New connectivity: This railway line will connect those areas directly to the railway network, which were still deprived of it. In a way, it will also prepare an alternative route of Gorakhpur-Lucknow main railway line.

2. Dozens of villages benefit: With the construction of this line, the lives of millions of people from hundreds of villages falling on the way will become easier. They will now be easy to go to big cities for treatment, studies or business.

3. Will be new stations: On this route Sahajanwa, Khajni, Unval, Gola Bazaar, Barhalganj and Dohghat Like many new railway stations will be built.

What is the current condition of the project?

Railways have completed land acquisition work for this project by about 90% and construction work has also started. The government has also allocated a budget for this, so it is clear that now this project will be completed rapidly without stopping.
