Harak Singh Rawat: Recently, ED (Enforcement Directorate) took major action against former Forest Minister of Uttarakhand and Congress leader Harak Singh Rawat and seized 101 bigha land worth Rs 70 crore located in Dehradun.
Rawat hatched a conspiracy to grab the land located in Sahaspur, Dehradun.
Giving information about this, the central agency said in a statement that, ‘Rawat along with some people conspired to grab this land located in Sahaspur, Dehradun, after which on January 20, ED booked him under PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act). The current market value of the land is Rs. more than 70 crores
The ED said the registration value of the attached land was only Rs. 6.56 crores, but its current market price is Rs. More than 70 crores. 64-year-old Harak Singh Rawat is the former forest minister of the state. Before the 2022 Uttarakhand Assembly elections, he left BJP and joined Congress.
Harak Singh was worried about this land earlier also
The special thing is that this is the same land, regarding which Harak Singh Rawat had been in trouble earlier also, although after investigation, he got relief from the court. During the BJP government, an attempt was made to blackmail Harak Singh Rawat regarding this land. But still the investigating agencies could not take any specific action in this matter.

In this case, Harak Singh Rawat went to the court and said that he has been implicated in this case out of political hatred against me. Then he got relief from the court. After this, a committee was formed in the Harish Rawat government and the matter of this land was opened, but still nothing could be done on it.
Now the Enforcement Directorate has seized this land
In such a situation, for the third time now his land in Sahaspur has become a problem for Harak Singh Rawat. This time the central agency Enforcement Directorate has seized this land. Harak Singh Rawat’s medical college is also on this land. It has been told that questions had been raised earlier also regarding this land dispute, but then Hark Singh Rawat presented all the documents and called the matter a political malicious action.
