Everything became expensive from apple to water chestnut flour

With the beginning of Chaitra Navratri, there is a beauty in the markets, but this time, while preparing for the festival, people have suffered a tremendous inflation on their pockets. Things used in fasting-fasting-from fruits to flour-all prices have increased a lot. Many items, including apple, banana, coconut, kuttu and water chestnut flour, have now become much more expensive than before.

Prices of fruits touching the sky

As soon as the festive season starts, there is a rapid rise in fruits of fruits:

• Apple: The apple sold for ₹ 160- ₹ 200 per kg has now reached ₹ 200-₹ 250 kg.
• Banana: A dozen bananas which were earlier found for ₹ 40, are now being sold for ₹ 60- ₹ 80 per dozen.
• Papaya: Now ₹ 60 per kg is available.
• Grapes: Has reached a price of ₹ 120 per kg.
• Coconut: Selling up to ₹ 70.

The reason for this increase is said to be increased demand and low supply, especially during the festival festival, when the consumption of the fruit increases manifold.

Prices of flour used in fasting also climbed

The prices of the most used Kuttu and Singhada flour during the fast have also increased significantly:

• Singhara flour: Now ₹ 200 per kg is being sold.
• Kuttu flour: Earlier it was getting ₹ 140 kg, now its price has reached ₹ 160 per kg.
• The prices of rice and chaulai of Samvak have also increased by ₹ 20 per kg.

Despite this, the reverence of the devotees adams

Even though prices are touching the sky, there is no decrease in the faith of the devotees. Shopping for the markets and worship materials in the markets is still going on. People say that the expenses in front of religious faith in Navratri do not matter.

Cleaning of wholesalers: demand more, supply less

Wholesalers say that inflation is normal to 15-20% during festivals every year, but this time logistic problems and effects of weather have affected the supply chain. For this reason, the prices are seeing a lot of rise.
