On January 19, 2026, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya reached the country’s capital Delhi today to participate in the election program of the National President organized under the ‘Organization Parv’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a scathing attack on the opposition parties, especially the Samajwadi Party. In Bharatiya Janata Party, even an ordinary worker can reach the highest position with his ability. “In some political parties, presidents are selected by ‘birth’. There is no place for qualification; only one family or their close people always remain the head. These people call themselves ‘socialists’, but in reality their socialism is limited only to the welfare of their families. This is not democracy, but pure nepotism.”

Meeting with senior leaders and discussing state development: During his stay in Delhi, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya paid a courtesy call on eminent party leaders and Union Ministers and inquired about their well-being. During this, he also shared his views regarding the development works being run by the state government and the strength of the organization.

Bharatiya Janata Party is the largest democratic political party in the world, where leadership is elected by consensus and collective decision following internal democracy.

The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh is touching new heights of development. We are continuously working towards making Uttar Pradesh a better state.”
