Here, the outcome of a friendship made on Instagram was so horrifying that it would send shivers down anyone’s spine. An innocent 13 year old girl studying in seventh class was taken to a hotel and made a victim of gang rape.
This is how I was trapped in the web of friendship.
This shameful incident took place in Chinhat area of Lucknow. The family of the victim girl said in their complaint to the police that their 13-year-old daughter had befriended a young man named Ajay Rawat on Instagram a few months ago. Gradually the conversation between the two increased and then they gave each other their WhatsApp numbers. The accused won the trust of the girl with his sweet words.
A few days ago, accused Ajay called the student to meet him. The girl could not understand his nefarious intentions and went to a place near the house to meet him. Ajay came there on his bike and coaxed her and took her to a hotel with him.
Hotel room brutality and blackmailing
The ordeal that the student narrated to the police is extremely horrifying. When they reached the hotel room, Ajay’s two more friends, Shivam and Vishal, were already there. Before the girl could understand anything, all three together committed the heinous act of gang rape on her.
Crossing the limits of brutality, the accused also made a video of this entire incident. They threatened the girl that if she told anything about this to anyone, they would make this video viral on the internet and kill her.
