Game of death at midnight in Koderma valley, bus going to Ranchi was hit by a truck, valley echoed with screams

News India Live, Digital Desk: Jharkhand’s Koderma valley was once again shaken by a horrific road accident. A passenger bus going from Bihar Sharif to Ranchi was hit hard by a speeding truck coming from behind, due to which dozens of passengers in the bus were injured. The accident was so terrible that after the collision the bus was blown apart and the passengers sleeping inside screamed.

This tragic incident took place in Koderma valley of Koderma police station area at around 2 o’clock on Friday night. It is being told that the passenger bus named ‘Rani’ (BR 21P 8635) had left from Bihar Sharif for Ranchi. When the bus was passing through the dangerous turns of Koderma valley, an uncontrolled truck (UP 65 BT 4551) coming from behind hit it hard.

As soon as the collision took place, there was screams and condition of many people critical.

The collision was so strong that the passengers sitting in the bus did not even get a chance to recover. Many passengers fell down from their seats and some were left bleeding after colliding with each other. After the accident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. Hearing the screams of the injured, the nearby people and the police team reached the spot.

The police immediately started rescue operations and somehow took all the injured out of the bus and sent them to Koderma Sadar Hospital for treatment. More than a dozen people are reported to have been injured in this accident, out of which the condition of 4-5 people is said to be very critical. Doctors say that seriously injured patients can be referred to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for better treatment.

Who are the injured?

Most of the injured are residents of Bihar Sharif and its surrounding areas, who were going to Ranchi for work. Some of the injured have been identified as Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Chand, Mohammad Gulzar, Mohammad Danish and Mohammad Munna, all residents of Bihar Sharif.

Koderma valley is becoming the center of accidents due to its dangerous turns and high speed vehicles. This accident that happened late at night is once again raising serious questions on road safety.
