When the counting of votes was completed, Gandhadhar Munda won a stunning victory. He defeated his nearest rival by a margin of 79 votes, making it clear that the members of the Munda society were confident of his leadership. Gandhadhar Munda expressed his gratitude to the society in his first response after winning the election. He said that “the overall Munda society has trusted me, for which I thank all the members.”
Gandhadhar Munda has also set clear guidelines for his upcoming term. He insisted that his priority would be to unite the entire Munda society. This statement is also important because elections often create a lot of differences in the democratic process, but the first priority of leadership after victory is to bring everyone on one platform. He pledged that every member of the society would be heard and their problems will be resolved on priority. For this, he also said that if needed, he will also talk to the Chief Minister and Governor of the state on various issues of society. This shows that they are willing to use every possible platform for the development and interests of the society.
This victory of Gandhadhar Munda strengthens democracy and inclusion within the Munda society.
