Arjuna’s Gandiv bow was so powerful that no other weapon could destroy him. When the string of his bow was drawn, a sound or roar was generated which resonated throughout the battlefield. mythology
There was a dispute between the Kauravas and the Pandavas over the partition of the state. Then Mama Shakuni suggested to Dhritarashtra that he should hand over the Khandavaprastha Pandavas, which made them calm. Khandavaprastha was like a forest. The Pandavas had a big challenge to convert this forest into a city. Then Lord Krishna urges Vishwakarma. Vishwakarma appears and suggests Lord Krishna that he can seek help from Mayasura to establish the city. Because Mayasura also wanted to settle a city here.
Mayasura was pleased
When Mayasura came to know that he wanted to settle a city in Pandav Khandavaprastha, he was very happy. He takes Krishna, Arjuna and Vishwakarma to a ruin and starts showing them chariots there. Mayasura told Shri Krishna that this golden chariot was the first of Maharaj Som. The specialty of this chariot is that it can take the person to its desired place. Mayasura also showed him weapons kept in the chariot.

How did Gandiv discover?
There was a mace in the chariot, which was a mace of Kaumud. Apart from Bhimsen, no one could lift this mace. Along with this, Mayasura also showed the Gandiv bow kept in the chariot and said that this divine bow demon Raja Vrisparva received Lord Shiva by worshiping Lord Shiva.
Then Lord Krishna picked up the bow and gave it to Arjuna. Mayasura gave Arjun a stock of rice whose arrows never ended. After this, Lord Vishwakarma and Mayasura together formed the city of Indraprastha.
