News India Live, Digital Desk: Global Cues Mixed: On Wednesday, the domestic benchmark index opened with a slight decline amid mixed global signals as the FMCG and auto sector were seen selling in early trade. In the last trading session, Dow Jones in the US gained 740.58 points, or 1.78 percent, closed at 42,343.65. S&P 500 closed at 5,921.54 at 5,921.54 and Nasdaq 461.96 points, or 2.47 percent, closed at 19,199.16.
There was a positive attitude in the global markets on Tuesday. Experts say that despite the domestic fall, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) remained a pure buyer, which reflects the growing trust in the Indian market.
