Going home on Diwali? Do not forget even by forgetting in the train, you will not get sweets, you will have to eat jail bread

As soon as the season of Diwali and Chhath arrives, millions of people use trains to go home. Let us tell you that in the Diwali season, the crowd increases at railway stations and the demand for train tickets touchs the sky.

People often take firecrackers home on Diwali, but taking them into a train under Section 164 of the Railway Act is a serious offense. It is also banned to carry things like gas cylinders, chemical or petrol-diesel. If caught, you may have a jail and fine of up to three years.

Smoking in a train is a crime under Section 167 of the Railway Act. Drinking cigarettes or bidi can lead to fine or imprisonment. In many cases, passengers are immediately arrested.

Climbing on the train without tickets or buying fake tickets is a crime under Section 137. In such cases, passengers can be fined up to 10 times the rent and may also be in jail. In the festive season, the ticket check becomes even more strict.

During festivals, people often take over the seats of other passengers or force them. It is a punishable offense under sections 155 and 156. In such cases the Railway Police (RPF) can take immediate action. Those involved in this incident may also have to go directly to jail.

According to Section 145 of the Railway Act, any behavior harassing other passengers in the train is considered a crime. This includes talking in loud voice on mobile, playing music in loud voice or making unnecessary noise.

Under Section 145, it is also a crime to climb into a drunk train, shout or disturb the passengers. The person doing so is immediately arrested and sent to jail.

Drawing the chain of the train without reason is considered a crime under Section 141. If caught doing so, you can be imprisoned up to one year or a fine of up to Rs 1000. This is often a mistake in a mockery of festivals, but it can also be sentenced to jail.
