The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to make the biggest and most revolutionary change in the history of Indian school education. - Computational Thinking (CT): This is the most important part. This is not a computer topic, but a way to solve the problem Is. In this, children will be taught how to break any big and difficult problem into small, manageable parts, how to identify patterns and then how to solve it in a logical manner.
Why was this big decision taken?
This move of CBSE is in line with the New Education Policy (NEP), which aims to prepare children for 21st century skills instead of making them mere bookworms. Today’s world is run by technology. In the coming times, AI and problem-solving skills will be required in every job and every field. CBSE wants to prepare today’s generation for this future.
How will this new syllabus be implemented?
To implement this huge change, CBSE has Expert Committee Has been formed. This committee will prepare a detailed and age-appropriate curriculum, which will be implemented in a phased manner.
The special thing is that it will not be taught as a separate and cumbersome subject, but will be integrated with existing subjects like mathematics, science and even languages. Its purpose is not to burden children, but to make their learning process more fun and practical.
This decision is an indication that India is now on the path of teaching its future manufacturers to think, create and innovate, instead of just memorizing information.
