After the scorching heat in the country, there is a relief news for the stock market and the people. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted normal rainfall this year. The stock market is also excited with the expectation of good rains. Then for the next few months, the shares of sectors like Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), agriculture, automobile and especially two-wheelers and tractors, retail and hotels will remain in discussion.
The June-September seasonal rains in the country will lead to faster growth and lower inflation this year. Hindustan Unilever (HUL), Britannia, Dabur, Hero Motor Corp, Westlife Foodwards, Shoppers Stop and others have already indicated an increase in demand after accurate forecasts of rains in their comments. Normal rains are likely to create a bullish cloud in agriculture and allied sector stocks. Especially companies working in rural areas are expected to benefit more. Consumer durables, consumer staples (FMCG), auto, real estate and fertilizer companies are favorites this season.
