Officials of the central and state governments will closely monitor the enforcement of these stock boundaries to ensure that there is no artificial shortage of wheat in the country.

The central government has purchased 298.17 LMT wheat (up to 27.05.2025) through state agencies/FCI which is sufficient to meet the requirement of PDS, OWS and other market intervention schemes.
