The central government has decided to eliminate this traffic problem from the root and now this four-lane highway will be converted into a six-lane.

Why was this decision taken?

Jhansi-Kanpur NH-27 is one of the most important roads connecting Bundelkhand to Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. In the last few years, traffic pressure on this highway has increased manifold, due to which there are often long jams in places like Kalpi, Orai and Moth. People take hours to travel a few kilometers, which not only waste time, but also affects business.

In view of this problem, it has been decided to widen this 213 km long highway.
