New Delhi/Patna: The government has taken another revolutionary step towards making women financially self-reliant. If you are also dreaming of starting your own self-employment, then this news is for you only. Now the way seems to be clear for women associated with Jeevika Group to get loans up to Rs 2 lakh. According to information received from sources, the government is preparing to give a huge amount to the women who had earlier started their small business with an initial assistance of Rs 10,000 for expanding their business on a large scale.
Don’t worry about lack of experience, government will provide training itself.
It is often seen that experience or guarantee is required to take a loan from the bank, but the most special thing about this scheme is its training process. The government itself will train women who want to start a new startup or business. It is being told that special training camps for this can start from February 15. This training will be for about 7 days, in which women will be taught the specifics according to the field of their choice. After completion of the training, the process of sending money to the accounts of eligible women can be started by the month of March.
The amount will come in three installments, payment will be easy
According to the strategy of the scheme, this amount of Rs 2 lakh can be given in three different installments instead of being given in lump sum. Its objective is to ensure that the money is properly utilized in the step-by-step development of the business. Although it is a loan which has to be repaid, the interest rates have been kept very nominal for the convenience of women. Besides, the repayment period has also been kept quite long so that the burden of installments does not fall on the monthly budget of women.
Steps towards self-reliant India
The main vision of the government is to make women ‘business women’ instead of limiting them to just running a household. Through this scheme, a blueprint has been prepared to empower women of both rural and urban areas. If reports are to be believed from social media and departmental sources, its official announcement and payment process may start before March. However, women are advised to keep their required documents ready so that they can avail the benefits as soon as the application process starts.
