On the last day of India Bangladesh Cricket Test match at Green Park Stadium, Bharatiya Janata Party Kanpur Nagar MP Ramesh Awasthi along with District President Shivram Singh, Regional Media Incharge Anup Awasthi and dozens of BJP officials reached the Green Park ground and watched the match. After the Indian team won the match, MP Ramesh Awasthi roamed around the Green Park ground and congratulated the cricket lovers of Kanpur metropolis on the victory of the Indian team.
During this time, cricket lovers told Ramesh Awasthi that ODI and T-20 matches should also be held in Green Park of Kanpur. On the demand of cricket lovers, MP Ramesh Awasthi assured all the sports lovers that soon Greenpark Stadium of Kanpur will witness one-day matches and T-20 matches. The MP said that while discussing this successful match in detail with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, I would say that the spectator gallery of the Green Park ground should be increased. Along with this, the drainage system of the ground should also be improved. This will definitely infuse a new enthusiasm among the sports lovers of Kanpur and the glory of Kanpur will definitely increase by having the match at Green Park ground.
