A news has come out from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, which has shocked every listener. Here a man accused of raping his 6 year old innocent daughter cut off the private parts of his own gay partner and then committed suicide by hanging himself. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of sensation and mourning in the entire area.
What is this whole scary story?
According to the police, this heart-wrenching incident happened on the night of 21st October. A 32-year-old man, who worked in an orchestra, was separated from his wife. He was in a relationship with his 35-year-old friend Ram Babu Yadav and lived with him.
The story took a frightening turn when the man’s 6-year-old daughter had come to meet him. It is alleged that on the same night, Ram Babu Yadav raped the girl.
The father woke up after hearing the girl’s screams. Seeing his daughter in that condition he became furious with anger. He picked up the knife kept in the house and attacked Ram Babu. In the violent clash between the two, he cut the private parts of Ram Babu Yadav.
One is in critical condition, the other has embraced death.
In this attack, Ram Babu Yadav was badly injured and drenched in blood. He was immediately admitted to the hospital, from where he was referred to Gorakhpur. His condition still remains critical and the police is monitoring him. Against Yadav on father’s complaint POCSO Act A case of rape has been registered under IPC.
But the ending of this story was even more tragic. Next morning, the father was found hanging in his room. Police believe that he has committed suicide.
Fear of social stigma behind suicide?
According to some reports, Ram Babu Yadav had told people about his relationship with that person, due to which he was facing defamation and mental stress in the society. It is believed that he took this dreadful step due to the brutality meted out to his daughter and social pressure.
The people of the village told that both were friends for a long time and used to work together. A villager said, “This incident is very shameful for the village. The father took revenge for the injustice done to his daughter.”
At present, the innocent girl has been sent to her maternal grandparents, where she is being given medical care and counselling. The police are investigating the matter in depth.
