Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya paid emotional tribute to the great saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, the pioneer of social unity, harmony and humanism, on the occasion of his birth anniversary by paying floral tributes at his memorial portrait at his official residence, 7 Kalidas Marg in Lucknow.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the dream of a discrimination-free society seen by Sant Ravidas Ji Maharaj still inspires us to follow the path of social harmony, compassion and humanity. His thoughts give the message of respect, equal opportunity and self-respect to every section of the society.

Shri Maurya called upon the people of the state to imbibe the ideals of Saint Ravidas ji in their lives and said that his teachings are a guide in strengthening social harmony and building a strong, egalitarian nation.
