A dream seen since independence is now going to be a reality. Very soon, the country’s modern train ‘Vande Bharat Express’ will run from Katra in Jammu to Srinagar in Kashmir Valley. This is not just a train, but a revolution that is finishing a 77 -year -long wait and is truly connecting Kashmir with the rest of India.

Till now, the road from Katra to Srinagar, the base camp of Vaishno Devi, was about 6 to 7 hours tedious and difficult. But now this journey will be completed by Vande Bharat train in just 3.5 hours. Imagine, you will be in Jammu in the morning and you will be able to eat lunch in the beautiful plains of Srinagar!

Laying this railway line was not a children’s game. It is a living miracle of Indian engineering. Train on this route world’s highest railway bridge ‘Chenab Bridge’ Will pass through, which is higher than Eiffel Tower! This bridge is truly built above the clouds. Trial successful, will get green signal soon
Recently, the trial run of Vande Bharat train on this historic route has been successfully completed. Now just some last work is left, after which it is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will flag off this historic train.
With the introduction of this train, not only will the tourism of Kashmir get wings, but it will also be very easy for the local people, army personnel and traders. This train is not just a means, but the beginning of a new era of development, peace and prosperity in Kashmir.
