But if someone told you that centuries before Newton was born, scholars from Kerala in India had discovered mathematical principles like calculus, wouldn’t you be surprised? A similar shocking claim has been made in a book of the Education Ministry, which has sparked a new debate in the field of Indian history and mathematics.
