Shravasti: Today, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya visited Shravasti district. During this, he participated as the chief guest in the ‘Gram Chaupal’ program organized by the Rural Development Department and addressed the local public. In his address, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the ‘double engine’ government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath is working with full sensitivity for the development of villages and the welfare of the poor. He stressed that the purpose of Gram Chaupals is to bridge the distance between the government and the public so that the benefits of development schemes reach the eligible persons directly. The Deputy Chief Minister inspected the stalls set up by self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and appreciated the entrepreneurship of women. House keys, nutritional food for children and women and other support materials were distributed to the beneficiaries of various government schemes. He listened to the problems of the local villagers and directed the officials for their prompt disposal. The Deputy Chief Minister called upon all the workers and officials to implement the schemes of the Central and State Government. Play your active role in reaching out to the people. On this occasion, Honorable Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Uttar Pradesh Government Shri Nitin Agarwal, Honorable MLA Shri Ram Pheran Pandey, BJP District President Shri Mishrilal Verma, District Panchayat President Shri Daddan Mishra along with other public representatives, senior officers and a large number of rural people were present.
