Due to the repair of Topanchanchi water purification plant and repair of the main pipeline, the water shortage of millions of people of the city may increase. The reason for this is the old pipelines in which the water is constantly leaking due to the rings and hole in place.

About 2 lakh people will be directly affected by this water crisis. It is being told that it will take a long time to repair the water supply Topanchachi water treatment plant in the city and to change the 3 km old pipeline about 3 km old. Even before this, there have been many problems in drinking water in many areas, but this new crisis will be much deeper.
Water is being supplied with tankers in the city, that too twice a day. But this method is not permanent and not enough according to the population. People may face great difficulties for daily work and drinking water. Due to continuous leakage in the old pipeline, not only water is being wasted, but the pressure of water has also reduced.
A big plan has been made to deal with this problem, which will cost about 55 crore rupees. Under this scheme, not only a new and strong pipeline will be laid, but the water purification plant will also be modernized so that such problems can be avoided in future.
Now the residents of Dhanbad will have to be ready to struggle with this long stretched problem. It is the responsibility of the Department of Water and Sanitation to do this work, which will have to deal with this challenge as soon as possible, so that people do not have to be deprived of basic needs.
