We work with hard work and dedication in a company for years, we do our loyalty. But do you know that the law also gives you a great reward of this loyalty? Yes, it is called Grachuti. It is the money that the company gives you when you leave the job or retire. This is a way the “Thank You” gift given to you by the company. But this is not a gift, your right. Just a condition – you have done 5 consecutive years in that company. People do not understand how this money is calculated. So let’s understand today, we and you understand its full math, with a very easy example. Take your salary 60,000 rupees and you have worked for 10 years… Now you must be wondering how much money you will get. Let us calculate it step-by-step. What is the formula of Grachuti? It is very simple: (last salary) X (working years) X (15/26) Now you will say, what is this 15/26? Let’s understand it: Salary means: Salary here is not your entire in-salary, rather your full salary is not your full salary, rather your full salary. Suppose it is 60,000 rupees. 26 days in the mother: According to the law, only 26 days a month are counted for gratuity (4 Sundays removed). 15 days salary: On completion of one year you are given gratuity equal to 15 days salary. Rules: If you have done more than 6 months work in the last year after completing 5 years in the job, then it will be counted a year. That is, your 10 years 8 months will be full 11 years old. Now in the formula, you enter these numbers: = (60,000 rupees) x (11 years) x (15/26) Calculation: First one day salary: 60,000 / 26 = ₹ 2307.69 Now multiply it by 15: 2307.69 x 15 = ₹ 34,615.38 Multiply from: 34,615.38 x 11 = ₹ 3,80,769, then you will get about 12 lakh eighty thousand rupees in addition to your salary for 10 years 8 months!
