The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday informed that the sale of tickets for the Pakistan phase of the Champions Trophy 2025 will start from January 28. However, the renewal work of the stadium in the host country is not yet completed. Pakistan has to hand over the stadiums to the ICC by 30 January, but construction work at the venue of Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi is still going on.
Champions Trophy program
The Champions Trophy session will be held in Pakistan and Dubai from February 19. India’s matches will be in Dubai, and tickets for those matches will be made available in the coming days. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied that the tournament is likely to be taken out of the country due to delay in construction work.
The PCB says that the presence of officials associated with the ICC delegation, broadcast, hospitality, and program operations in the country indicates that the tournament will be held in Pakistan at the scheduled time.
Ticket prices
The ICC has kept the minimum price of tickets for the Champions Trophy 1000 Pakistani rupees (about 310 Indian rupees), while the minimum price of ‘premium seating’ tickets will start from 1500 Pakistani rupees (about 465 Indian rupees).
Final and semi -final tickets
The final ticket to be held on 9 March will be available to buy after the conclusion of the first semi -final to be played in Dubai. ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya said in a release,
“We are very excited to announce the sale of official tickets for the ICC Men Champions Trophy 2025. This is an important moment for Pakistan, hosting its first global cricket tournament since 1996. ”
Registration for tickets
Fans will have to register first on the official website of ICC for tickets. The event is an important opportunity not only for Pakistani cricket, but for the entire cricket world.
