Migraine is a serious problem, which occurs in the form of severe pain in the head. The pain in one side of the head is severe and unbearable, sometimes lasting from a few minutes to several days. People suffering from migraine often feel dizziness, vomiting and mild fever. This pain problem may increase in winter.

However, an easy solution to get relief from this is black pepper. In Ayurveda, black pepper is considered a panacea for migraine. A substance called piperine present in it helps in reducing inflammation, which provides relief from migraine pain. However, it needs to be consumed with caution, because black pepper is hot in nature and excessive consumption can cause harm.

Consumption of black pepper is one solution to get relief from migraine.

Dr Pramod Anand Tiwari of Babes Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Punjab, said migraine pain is caused by tension and nerve compression throughout the body. He says that if black pepper is consumed during stress before the onset of migraine pain, it provides a lot of relief. The doctor suggested that two to three black peppers should be chewed in the mouth to get relief from migraine pain. This can provide quick relief from pain.

Although caution is necessary
Because black pepper is hot in nature, excessive consumption of it can be harmful. Its excessive consumption can cause problems like nosebleeds. Therefore, Ayurvedic doctors advise that more than two or three black peppers should not be consumed. If black pepper is consumed in the right quantity, it can be effective in controlling migraine pain.
