It is alleged that the woman was called on the pretext of ‘feeding chicken’ and the incident of rape was carried out. The police took immediate action on the complaint of the victim and arrested the main accused, but this incident has created a sensation in the area.
What is the whole incident?
The victim, who is originally from Uttar Pradesh and is a dancer by profession, had come to Ara in Bhojpur in connection with some program. According to the complaint given to the police, the accused lured her to a dinner (chicken party). When she reached there, the accused held her hostage in the room and committed heinous acts on her. The victim was also threatened with death if she protested.
Police action and arrest
After the incident, the distraught victim somehow reached the police station and narrated her ordeal to the police. On the instructions of Bhojpur SP, the police team immediately raided and arrested the accused. The police have conducted medical examination of the woman and recorded her statement and have started further legal action.
