Hathras, 18 September (HS). In view of the increasing conspiracies in railway accidents, Superintendent of Police Nipun Agarwal held a meeting with GRP, RPF, railway officials and station in-charges on Wednesday in view of the security arrangements of the railway line. During this, the SP gave necessary guidelines to the concerned present.
SP was told that to prevent incidents related to blocking of railway track, regular joint patrolling should be done by establishing coordination between railway, RPF, GRP and local police. GRP, RPF and local police were jointly directed to patrol the railway track from time to time and identify the mixed population and anti-social elements around the track and take effective action. Everyone was told that if any information is received regarding railway track or any other railway related incident, then it will be shared among themselves and senior officials will also be informed. Necessary guidelines were given to identify the stone pelters and take strict action to prevent incidents of stone pelting on trains. Verification of people living around the railway track should be done and all the incidents that have happened on the railway track in the last 10 years should be analyzed. Instructions were given for continuous monitoring and checking of the criminals involved in the above incidents. Instructions were given to take action as per rules on illegal construction around the railway track.
During this, Additional Superintendent of Police Hathras Ashok Kumar, Area Officer GRP Agra Nazmul Hussain Naqvi, KR Meena SSE Hathras, Inspector in Charge Hathras Gate Police Station, Police Station in Charge Sasni, Inspector in Charge RPF, Police Station in Charge GRP Hathras City etc. officers were present.
