India-Germany green technology synergy will boost global growth: Goyal

New Delhi, 25 October (Hindustan Reporter). Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said Germany's precision engineering skills and India's ability to scale across physical, digital or social infrastructure will help create something extraordinary for the world.

Goyal said this at the inauguration of the 18th Asia Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) in New Delhi on Friday. The Union Commerce Minister said that from adopting AI to semiconductors to promoting the country's vibrant startup ecosystem to collaborating on green technology, the synergy between India and Germany can drive unprecedented growth. He said that India's capability combined with Germany's precision engineering will help in benefiting the world.

Goyal said Asia's demographic transition is fertile ground for businesses that want to expand and also take advantage of emerging regions. He said India is committed to tackling climate change and is moving towards meeting the Nationally Determined Contribution. The Commerce and Industry Minister said that today's India is built on strong macroeconomic infrastructure. He said recovery, resilience and readiness for the future are available to businesses around the world.
