Under the Bharat alliance, Congress is contesting the elections with Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, RJD in Bihar and DMK in Tamil Nadu. Despite the alliance, there is going to be a direct contest between BJP and Congress in many states.

BJP is looking strong in Rajasthan but due to the changed equations after the appointment of the new Chief Minister, Congress is expected to win this seat. Congress's morale has been boosted by Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam, but it remains to be seen whether it will impact the Lok Sabha elections or not.

This time in Delhi also there will be direct competition on seven seats. Because Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are fighting together against BJP. Sources say that the opposition's position may be better in a direct contest. Whereas Congress is expected to get seats in Chhattisgarh and Haryana. There is an alliance between Congress and AAP in Haryana.
