New Delhi: India on Tuesday confirmed their tough stance against terrorism and warned Pakistan to be used to this “new normal”. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal told the media that Pakistan is supporting terrorism at the industrial level and cannot escape its results.

Jaiswal said, “Pakistan has encouraged terrorism at the industrial level. If it feels that it can avoid its consequences, it is cheating itself. The centers of the terrorist infrastructure destroyed by India have killed not only Indians but have killed many innocent people all over the world. Now the new trend is there. As soon as it is a new trend. As soon as it is a new trend, it is better to Pakistan.

Reacting to the celebration of victory in Pakistan after facing a counter -attack on behalf of India, Jaiswal quipped, “It is the old habit of Pakistan to celebrate the victory. It is his old habit in the Kargil wars of 1971, 1975 and 1999. It is his old habit to beat the drums even after losing.”

Jaiswal said that Pakistan’s attitude has changed after the Indian Army has effectively disabled Pakistani air bases on 10 May. He said, “It is enough to note who called whom and interacted on the terms of closing the firing.”

Reacting to the victory speech of the Pakistani minister, Jaiswal said, “As a result of Operation Sindoor last week, India destroyed terrorist camps at Bahawalpur, Muridke, Muzaffarabad and other places. Since then there has been a significant decrease in Pakistan’s military capacity and the major airports have become inactive. If Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar wants to present it as achievements.”

India’s tough stance and actions have given a clear message about the consequences of supporting terrorism to Pakistan.
