Raipur: Little boy Sahdev Dirdo shot to fame in 2019 with his version of ‘Bachpan ka Pyaar’ and he’s become an internet sensation yet again with the song two years later. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday met Sahadev, who lives in the Naxal-affected Sukma district.
The boy performed for the CM, which Baghel shared on his Twitter as well. In this video, Sahadev is heard singing the same song and has a garland of flowers around his neck.

Earlier this week, Bhupesh Baghel had posted a news article on Twitter and applauded Sahdev, saying in Hindi, “Sahdev ko bachpan mein Chhattisgarh aur poore desh ka itna saara pyaar mil raha hai. Main iss bachche ke ujjwal bhavishya ki kaamna karta hoon (Sahdev, in his childhood, has received so much love from Chhattisgarh and from all over the entire country. I am sending him my best wishes).”
When this viral video reached Bollywood musician Badshah, reached out to Sahdev and offered to sing together. He talked to the child through a video call and called him to Chandigarh. Badshah is also included in the fans of his song.
Two years ago, when Sahdev was studying in the fifth standard he performed the song during a school program. He was studying in the Government Primary School at Pendalnar at that time. His teacher had uploaded the video of Sahdev on social media, which later went viral with people creating videos and reels to the audio. Thousands of memes were made and shared on all social media platforms. Sahdev is right now in class VII.
Twitteratis were too impressed by the chief minister meeting Sahdev, appreciating his singing skills and helping him.
