IndiGo: Emergency in Indigo flight going from Delhi to Leh: Aircraft returned, big accident averted

Sensing the danger, the pilot approached the Air Traffic Control (ATC) without delay and sought permission for emergency landing.

ATC immediately allowed and the aircraft was safely taken back. Emergency services were already on alert at the airport. As soon as the aircraft landed, the security personnel took the front.

Indigo Airlines issued a statement saying that the aircraft had to return due to technical fault. For the convenience of passengers, immediate alternative aircraft have been arranged and they have been taken to the airport terminal.
