Under the new policy, H-1B visa holders will have to enter America on September 21 at 12:01 pm (EDT) or before Indian standard time before 9:31 am. After this, they will be able to leave the US only when they pay a new $ 100,000.

Following this decision by Trump, big companies like Amazon, Microsoft and JP Morgan have advised their H-1B visa employees not to leave the US. Employees working abroad have been asked to return immediately. Following this announcement, there has been a huge bounce in the air fares going to America.

There was also chaos at San Francisco Airport. Passenger Masood Rana said that his flight stayed for three hours as many passengers decided to get off the aircraft for fear that they would never be able to return after leaving the US.
