After working the whole day, he used to earn only Rs. 300 as wages, that too sometimes he used to work and sometimes not. Due to which the family was facing financial crisis. Meanwhile, he met Pritam, a resident of Hazari Bagh Chatra Jharkhand who was his school friend.

Pritam told him that he would get 20 thousand rupees per trip if he took the opium to Delhi NCR, Haryana and Punjab. Rahul agreed to this and came to Punjab and Haryana with some other person once or twice to supply it. In which he got thousand rupees per trip. After this Rahul himself started smuggling illegal opium from Jharkhand to Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi NCR and he started earning a lot of profit in this work.

Accused Rahul Kumar Dangi told that he takes as much opium as he gets the demand and comes by bus and train through different routes, to the person to whom he has to deliver the goods. Instead of making delivery to him, Rahul decides in advance where, when and at what time the goods have to be delivered. When Rahul leaves with the goods, he does not contact anyone until the goods are delivered to the person to whom they have to be delivered at the decided place. This time the talk was to deliver the goods in Ghaziabad. On interrogation, he also told that for some time the demand of opium has increased in Delhi NCR region. He has been doing this work for the last one year and has delivered the goods many times. During police interrogation, many other important information has been received regarding criminals involved in drug sale and smuggling. On the basis of which teams have been formed and raids are being conducted for recovery of goods and arrest. Certainly, this type of police action will put a stop to the sale and consumption of drugs in Ghaziabad district and surrounding areas.
