International disclosure of Conversion Racket: ED recovered foreign currency from Changur Baba’s locations and connected from abroad

News India Live, Digital Desk: International Disclosure of Conversion Racket: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided Surendra Gaur (now Surendra Gaur (now Surendranath Singh) and his trusts. In this action, the agency has recovered a large amount of foreign currencies like US dollars, euros and Saudi riyal, which gives clear indication to the international relationship of this racket. Surendra Gaur, who calls himself Saint Shri Swami Surendranath Singh, runs ‘Sant Shri Swami Surendranath Singh Teaching and Charitable Trust’ in Siwan, Bihar. The ED investigation has revealed that this trust was being used to make conversion by giving temptation like money, jobs and free houses to the poor, especially the weaker people of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes communities. All this racket was being operated by getting foreign funds through illegal and criminal means. ED conducted a search operation in many places across the country, including Bihar (including Siwan), Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Mumbai located in Mumbai. During these raids, important objectionable documents, digital evidence, property details and important information related to bank accounts have been seized. The zancha has revealed that this racket of ‘Changur Baba’ is associated with other conversion rackets like the Global Peace Center and Umar Gautam like the Global Peace Center run by the Islamic scholar Maulana Kalim Siddiqui. It is worth noting that Maulana Kalim Siddiqui was also arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti -Terrorism Squad (UP ATS) in connection with a similar conversion racket, and later the ED also detained him. The UP ATS had earlier revealed that Siddiqui’s organization was receiving funding of about Rs 150 crore from ‘Al-Hasan International’ and other foreign institutions in the United Kingdom. This latest action of ED explains the conversion gangs operating in the name of ‘Changur Baba’ and the major international hawala and funding network behind it. The possibility of the access of this entire racket and the conspiracy spread to the global level has become stronger due to the recovered foreign currency. Further investigation is expected to reveal many more aspects of this huge network.
