Iran seems desperate to take revenge from Israel. Iran has given such indications earlier also but now once again Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reiterated the same thing. Abbas Araghchi has said that his country will give a planned response to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Abbas Araghchi said late on Sunday night that he made this comment in a telephone conversation with Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
'No fear of escalation of tension'
“Iran's response to the Israeli terrorist attack in Tehran is certain,” Araghchi posted on social media platform X. “Although we are not afraid of escalation of tensions, like Israel, we also want restraint and constructive approach to prevent the growing threat of military action in the region. Any military action will only lead to more suffering,” Tajani said in a statement.
Heavy firing between Israel and Hezbollah
“Iran must show restraint towards Hezbollah to prevent tensions on the Lebanon-Israel border, where Italian soldiers from the UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) contingent are deployed,” Antonio Tajani said in a statement, coming as heavy gunfire broke out on Sunday between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, which has long been backed by Iran.
