How to do Shalabhasana? (simple method)

  • First of all, lie down straight on your stomach. Rest your chin on the ground.
  • Keep both the legs straight and close to each other.
  • Straighten both your hands and press them under your thighs. Palms can be towards the ground or towards the thighs.
  • Now take a deep breath in and try to raise both your legs as high as possible without bending them.
  • Keep in mind, during this time your chin and hands will remain on the ground.
  • Remain in this position for 10-20 seconds as per your capacity and keep breathing normally.
  • Slowly exhale and bring your legs back down.
  • Repeat this process 3 to 5 times.
