It is now necessary to put ‘thumb’ in the wedding pavilion, a big decision of Yogi government to stop fraud

In the ‘Mukhyamantri Group Marriage Scheme’ for the marriage of poor daughters, no longer of fraudsters will run. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big and effective step to eliminate the fraud in this scheme. Now in mass marriage, it has been made mandatory to attend both the groom and the bride with biometric ie fingers.

After all, why this rule was needed?

Actually, some vicious people were taking wrong advantage of this good plan. Many times married couples used to take advantage of Rs 51,000 from the government as a bride and groom again. Some brokers used to make their commission by conducting fake marriages. This new rule has been brought to stop all these.

Now how will the new system work?

  1. Aadhar card required: Now it will be mandatory to give Aadhaar card while applying for this scheme.

  2. Biometric attendance in the pavilion: On the wedding day, both the bride and groom will have to give their fingers (biometrics) before sitting in the pavilion.

  3. Will be identified immediately: As soon as the thumb will be applied, the system will check if this person has not taken advantage of this scheme before. With this, only one person will not be able to benefit by marrying again and again.

The purpose of this decision is to ensure that the help of the government reaches only those poor and needy families who need the most. Now every poor daughter will be married with respect and no one else will be able to snatch her right.
