It may rain at some places in coastal Tamil Nadu today:

Chennai, December 16: Atmospheric high pressure system is active over South Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas. Due to this, light to moderate rain may occur at some places in coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and Karaikal areas today. Dry weather is likely over interior Tamil Nadu. Chennai Meteorological Department has told this. There is light fog at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas in the morning.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with showers in some parts of South and North Tamil Nadu on December 17 also. Today the sky will be partly covered with clouds. The maximum temperature may remain around 29-30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature may remain around 20-21 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow the maximum temperature may remain around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature may remain around 21-22 degrees Celsius.
