News India Live, Digital Desk: As soon as the festive season arrives, getting confirmed tickets in trains is not less than winning any battle, especially at the time of Diwali and Chhath Puja. But this year there is a great news for people living in Delhi, Rajasthan and other cities from Jharkhand. In view of the huge crowd of passengers, the Railways has announced to run 12 pair of festival special trains from Ranchi and Hatia. This decision will provide relief to thousands of people who are planning to come home on festivals.

For which cities will trains run?

Ranchi Rail Division of South Eastern Railway has made it clear that these special trains will connect Jharkhand to many big cities of the country. These trains will be mainly run on the routes which are the most crowded.

  • Delhi/Anand Vihar: The number of passengers coming from Jharkhand to Delhi is the highest. Keeping this in mind, many special trains will be run from Ranchi/Hatia to Anand Vihar Terminal.
  • Rajasthan (Ajmer/Jaipur): Railways have made special arrangements for the people of Jharkhand working or living in Rajasthan.
  • Other cities: Apart from this, there are plans to run special trains for cities like Gorakhpur and Durg, so that passengers of a large route can be covered.

When will the booking start?

Railways will soon release the detailed schedule of all these special trains, such as train number, running dates, time and stagnation at stations. Booking of tickets will also start as soon as the schedule is released. Passengers are advised to keep an eye on the official website (IRCTC) and app of the railway so that they can confirm their seat as soon as the booking is opened.

This step of Railways is certainly commendable during festivals. The running of these additional trains will not only reduce the pressure on regular trains, but the journey of passengers will also be comfortable and easy. Now the people of Jharkhand will be able to celebrate Diwali and Chhath Mahaparva with their family without any concern.
