News India Live, Digital Desk: If you are a fan of Team India like me, then the upcoming match is going to be very special for you. We often talk about the records of Rohit and Virat, but today we will talk about our ‘wicket machine’ i.e. Jasprit Bumrah Will be done. The series played against South Africa is not just a game for Bumrah, but a golden opportunity to get his name written in golden letters in the pages of history.
The news is that our ‘Boom-Boom’ Bumrah is very close to a record which no great bowler of India has been able to achieve till date.
Let us know in simple words what is that magical number for which we all are waiting.
difference of only 1 wicket
Let us tell you that Jasprit Bumrah is currently in T20 International (T20I). 99 wickets Are registered. As soon as he landed on the field one wicket And if he takes it, his century of wickets will be completed.
But you will think, “Hey, what’s the big deal? There must be other people who have taken 100 wickets?”
So sir, the big thing is that as soon as this one wicket falls, Jasprit Bumrah He will become the first bowler from India who has taken 100-100 wickets in all three formats of cricket (Test, ODI and T20I).
Centuries in all three formats
Yes, this hat-trick of scoring ‘century of wickets’ has not been done by any Indian till now.
If we look at Bumrah’s career graph:
- Test Cricket: He has already made more than 100 kills here.
- ODI: Here too he has 100+ wickets in his name.
- T20 International: Here we are stuck at bus 99, and once we reach 100 this ‘trio’ will be completed.
Some foreign bowlers in the world like Shaheen Afridi or Tim Southee have achieved this feat, but only Bumrah is going to open this account for India, a country of 1.5 billion people. Neither Zaheer Khan, nor Harbhajan nor R Ashwin could do this in all three formats.
The magic figure of 500 is also near
Not only this, if Bumrah maintains his rhythm in this series, then he will make his mark in international cricket. 500 wickets Can also complete. At present, he is just a few steps (18 wickets) away from this magical figure. That means this series can be completely in the name of Bumrah.
The heartbeats of the fans are fast
Bumrah has returned after a long rest. In such a situation, when he will bowl his yorkers in front of the South African batsmen, all our eyes will not only be on his bowling, but on that ‘one wicket’ which will make him the most unique bowler in Indian cricket.
So friends, get ready for the “boom-boom” noise. Do you think Bumrah will make this record in the very first over of the match?
