News India Live, Digital Desk: A heart-wrenching incident came to light on Monday (9 March 2026) in Dhurva police station area of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. 26 year old Indian Army soldier posted in Delhi Aman Kumar Yadav The body was found hanging in an old bicycle shed. The most shocking thing is that Aman’s marriage took place just 16 days ago (20 February) and he had to return to Delhi for duty on Monday itself.
Incident Details
Missing news: According to family members, Aman left home on his bike at around 5 pm on Sunday evening, but did not return till late night. His mobile phone also got switched off after 11 pm.
Recovery of dead body: At around 12 noon on Monday, local people saw a dead body of a youth hanging in the old stand of HMTP near Dhurva roundabout and informed the police.
Recovered items: Police have recovered Aman’s bike, mobile phone, a lighter, water bottle and cigarette packets from the spot. The body was hanging from the noose with the help of a plastic rope.
Murder or suicide? (Investigation Angles)
Dhurva police station is busy solving the mystery of this case, but at present the matter seems complicated:
Police’s side: Considering the initial investigation and circumstances, the police are ‘prima facie’ considering it as a case of suicide. However, no suicide note has been recovered from the spot.
Family allegation: Aman’s wife and family have expressed suspicion of murder. He says that some injury marks were visible on Aman’s body and he was not under any mental stress. The wife has filed a case of murder against unknown people.
The only recourse: Aman was the only son of his family. The happiness of his marriage had not even ended when this accident broke the family.

Dhurva police station in-charge Vimal Kindo said that the body has been sent to RIMS for post-mortem after Panchnama.
Awaiting post mortem report: The real cause and time of death will be known only after the post mortem report comes.
CCTV footage: Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras of the area to find out who else were with Aman on Sunday evening.
Call Details: Police are also examining the call details (CDR) of Aman’s mobile to get clues about the last minute conversation.
