Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji has strongly condemned Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge for calling the illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi a terrorist. He said that these words are not said to Shri Modi ji but to the 145 crore people of the country who have voted and elected them as the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that first the Congress should look at those dark pages of its history, in which softness, appeasement and dubious political sympathy towards Pakistan are recorded. This statement is not only a violation of political decorum but also an insult to the people, army and national spirit of the country.

Shri Maurya said that it is well known that Pakistan is the nursery of terrorism, and this country with terrorist mentality has always wished that India should have a weak government which would not attack its intentions harshly. Unfortunately, the statements and conduct of many Congress leaders have repeatedly reinforced this apprehension. The country has never forgotten Congress leaders going to Pakistan to seek support for opposing Modi.

He said that terrorist attacks continued to occur during the Congress rule, but the policy towards Pakistan was often soft and lackluster. Be it the Mumbai attacks or other terrorist incidents, the country saw that the Congress’ response was more diplomatic hesitation rather than a firm response. The real hammer blow on Pakistan and its terrorist nursery came after 2014, when India, under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, demonstrated both the policy and capability of ‘hitting home’ against terrorism.
