Ghaziabad: The city of Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh is on the path of rapid development, and now the benefit of this development is also going to be available to three important areas around Ghaziabad – Khoda, Loni and Muradnagar. The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) or concerned scheme is planned to develop these three areas as part of Greater Ghaziabad. The main objective behind this is to improve infrastructure in these areas and make them ‘smart’ on the lines of big cities like Mumbai.
Till now these areas were behind in terms of urban facilities in many ways, but after the implementation of this new scheme, the picture is expected to change here. It is believed that under this development work, roads of these areas will be widened and modern, sewerage and drainage system will be improved, street lights will be installed and other civilian facilities will be expanded.
This step is an important step towards improving the quality of life for the residents of these densely populated areas. Better roads and facilities will not only facilitate traffic but will also promote investment and economic activities in these areas. Adopting a developed city model like Mumbai indicates that the authorities are serious to develop these areas in a systematic and modern way.
After taking the tangible form of this scheme, Khoda, Loni and Muradnagar will also join the mainstream development of Ghaziabad and people here will also get better urban life experiences.
