Know the rules before issuing checks from January 1

From January 1, 2025, the check given by you will be deposited in the bank hence the check will be cleared within 2 hours of filling the check. As of now it takes 2-3 days for the check to clear. The checks will be cleared within a few hours of the New Year. Bank rules have changed with the new year

Implementation as per NPCI guidelines

Information to all customers regarding Continuous Clearing, Continuous Clearing will be implemented from 01 January 2025 as per NPCI guidelines, Checks filled in clearing will be settled on the same day, Clearing checks will be passed on the basis of opening balance. The timing of accepting clearing checks will be from 10 am to 2:30 pm.
