Laborer hangs himself at newly constructed police station, dies

Deoria, 24 October (Hindustan Reporter). A laborer committed suicide by hanging himself in the newly constructed Mahuadi police station in Deoria district on Thursday. Police reached the spot after receiving the information, took legal action and started investigating the case by sending the body for post-mortem.

Umesh (45), son of Jhannu Majhi, resident of Dharampur of Sahodara police station of Bettiah district of Bihar state, used to earn his living by working as a labourer. Who had gone to his village for a few days. On returning, he committed suicide by using a towel in the newly constructed Mahuadih police station. The police reached the spot after receiving the information, removed the body and sent it for post-mortem and started investigating the case.
