Lalu’s ideology is over, RJD candidate Jaichand Tej Pratap’s rebellious attitude creates chaos in the party

News India Live, Digital Desk: Once again the internal discord of Lalu family has come to the surface in the politics of Bihar. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son and former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav has opened a front against his own party, causing political turmoil within the party in the midst of the assembly elections. Terming all the candidates of RJD as ‘Jaichand’, he has said that now the ideology of Lalu Yadav has completely ended in the party.

“Public will teach ticket sellers a lesson”

Tej Pratap Yadav made this explosive statement in Jehanabad, where he had come to campaign for his organization ‘Chhatra Janshakti Parishad’ candidate Chandan Prakash against the official candidate of RJD. He roared from the stage and said, “These people have destroyed Lalu ji’s ideology. All RJD candidates are Jaichands. These people have done the work of selling tickets. The same people who were involved in sending Lalu ji to jail are roaming around with tickets in the party today.”

Tej Pratap has made it clear that he will go against the party and campaign for his organization’s candidates across Bihar and teach a lesson to the “ticket sellers”.

Direct target on Jagdanand Singh and ‘consultants’

Tej Pratap directly targeted RJD state president Jagdanand Singh. He said that Jagdanand Singh is destroying the party and people like him are the real “Jaichand”. He also alleged that Jagdanand Singh’s son, who himself is contesting the elections on RJD ticket, is associated with the BJP.

“My fight is not with Tejashwi, but with sycophants”

Although Tej Pratap refrained from directly attacking his younger brother and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, his signal was clear. He said, “Our fight is not with Tejashwi, but with the sycophants sitting around him who are ruining the party. These people want to make the two brothers fight.” He said that these are the same people who have given tickets to outsiders by taking money and ignoring the true workers of the party.

This open rebellion of Tej Pratap has created a very uncomfortable situation for RJD in the middle of the elections. On one hand, while Tejashwi Yadav is leading the grand alliance, on the other hand, his elder brother campaigning against the party’s candidates can give a big issue to the opposition.
