1. Important Dates

Application Start Date: February 2026.

Last date of application: By mid-March 2026 (see notification for exact date).

Expected date of exam: May-June 2026.

2. Educational Qualification and Age Limit (Eligibility)

Ability: Candidate’s degree from any recognized board 12th (Intermediate) It is mandatory to pass.

Age Limit: * General Category: 18 to 25 years.

OBC/EBC: Relaxation as per rules (upto 27-28 years).

SC/ST: Up to 30 years.

Age will be calculated on the basis of prescribed cut-off date.

3. Selection Process

The selection of Special Branch Constable will be done in three main stages:

Written Exam: This examination will be of objective type in which questions will be asked from General Knowledge, Hindi, Mathematics and current subjects.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Successful candidates in the written examination will be called for running, high jump and shot put.

Medical and Document Verification: Health test and documents verification of the finally selected candidates will be done.

4. Application Fee

General/OBC/Other State: ₹675 (approx.)

SC/ST/Women Candidates: ₹180 (approx).
